    Making Ctvt Tires Black

The big issue is these things just don't come off the axle. I have tried a hot water soak and brute strength pulling on them and they haven't budged a bit. I don't wanna cut the chassis apart and then try to repair it. I don't wanna cut the axle and try to repair that. I am thinking of wrapping each wheel in a sandwich bag and using a zip strip to cinch it closed around the axle. The bag being filled with a black dye solution. Make it a strong mix...hot water...salt...squish it around every few hours. Leave it in for a week. Even then no guarantees on what the results would be. Other option...make new axles and get custom tires/wheels from an rc shop.

Carefully mask and use automotive vinyl and trim paint.

I bought a tool, I can't recall what its called but its basically a reverse pliers. It pops the wheels right off. then I spray them with spray on Plasti-Dip. This gives them a rubber like coating. All works pretty good.
