Mego 2018 (Relaunched Mego Corp) Trek Wish List/Suggestions

I think that was more about the BBT figures than it was the boots. Intentional or not, they were just tailored a little "off". I've done customs with separate boots that do not look out of place. But I do agree that at this point, the boot-leg is iconic.

I'm unfamiliar with BBT but I am sure that if Marty wanted to do it, he could make removable boots for the Trek guys and that would just open up the possibilities for customs I'd think.

I am sure there will be a customs explosion. I mean we have 3D printers now. I want a dozen or more Security Officers, all different heads with Trek sideburns. A lot of stuff they may not want to mass produce. I'm going to have to make sure my next house has a "Game Room" so I can set it up as my own museum/photo studio. The gym I had in my last house was too small...

Absolutely. they need to get James Brady in. He can consult and do video work. They should hire him and Dave right now. Doc is already in, yes?

I don't know what to do with this thread I created... I had an idea initially to post what I wanted to "complete/relaunch/help/finish/revive" the original line.

BUT I would like to see them make several Upgrades and maybe re-release them.

So to recap.

1. I would like Mego to have released a few Megos in the old style that were "missing," so people could right an injustice, perhaps:
a) Sulu
b) Chekov
c) Chapel.

Maybe that's it.

2. Then I'd like them to switch gears and relaunch everything like Capt Dunsel and Dave McC and do it all! I'd buy them all again. Better bodies. More show-accurate. Modern.

Yes. I wish that.

Spark the interest with a "Here's what we missed" release. Maybe a 3 pack or something so everyone gasps and yells "They're baack!"

And then BOOM! Welcome to 2019. Get your phone out. We take Apple and Google pay... and Amazon will bring them to your house!

Start over and make them as good as possible per some of my previous posts.

Individual figures but go ahead and package each "Wave" in a Playset also so we can maybe buy the fully stocked Enterprise and encase it in Amber but still have the loose ones we want with any doubles.

Then a Fully stocked Engine Room playset with Scotty, Kyle and 6 other Red Shirt Ensigns (maybe armed...).

Then maybe a shuttle, did Galileo 7 have MBenga on the shuttle. It doesn't have to be episode accurate.

Then a staffed Sickbay.

Then maybe a TAS set with Commodore April and M'Ress at least.

Thanks! Awesome review. Great look at the body and back tattoo of the Mego stamp. Even the detail of listing Paul as the Consultant, the Sculptors and the Seamstress... that's a class act! Good times we are in, right now!!

I know...LoL. However, Capt. Kirk assembled the top tier security personnel for their mission to Planet of the Apes ( and I forget to remove the bars/stripes on the red shirts). I'm working on a short adventure based on the Primate Directive comic books that I love....have some surprises coming soon to the Mego Playhouse.
