Interesting Note About The Target Mego Retail Price...

15.00 MSRP in 2018, adjusted for inflation...

    ...is 3.25 in 1975.

In other words, roughly the same price today as then.

Now that is how you know we got people who understand their market!

Glad Marty and Co. are NOT gouging for this round of nuMEGO stuff! Looking forward to seeing more as the release date gets closer!
sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.

I wonder if the price will get cheaper when they are not exclusive

Price is definitely right on these new ones, and I will definitely buy more than I normally would because of it.

I'd greatly preferred it if the release was September 1 or even October 1, for $18.00 or even $19.99 and the bodies were modern and improved.
            I haven't seen a Type S body.
Does Doc have something like the Type S? The thread I found of him posting was 2013.

If the bodies released later this month are flawed I will not be happy. My original Captain Kirk is still tight, in storage and better than what Emce or Mattel put out, as I commented at the time.

I don't want to be disappointed. These need to be at least as good as the ones I still have from 1977-ish.

Type S bodies are pretty solid, going by the ones that I have handled.
No exclusives and no chase figures, please - I'm Canadian!

IMO the type S bodies are the best and the original mego bodies are a solid second, even if they might need
                to be restrung.
