    Janex Talking Alarm Clocks

As a kid, I really wanted this Batman talking alarm clock by Janex but I now think over time I would have to grown to hate Batman.

    I'm not a morning person.

I remember seeing that Batman clock advertised for so long, and thinking it looked cool... but I never owned one.

I still have my childhood Batman clock, but the Dynamic Duo went silent sometime in the 80s. I coveted it for what seemed like years behind the glass at J&R Drug here in town, but it was probably only months.

It's one of my favorite childhood items to survive into adulthood.

I love these. I have Batman and Bugs Bunny.
        Fresh, not from concentrate.

I still have a Batman one that I found at a flea market when I was a teenager, never could get the damn thing to work though.

Something about the smooth luster of the paint and that purple Batmobile always appealed to me. And in the 1970's, talking alarm clock technology seemed as advanced as cold fusion.

My sister and I had both the Raggedy Ann and Andy and the Batman clocks respectively. My grandmother bought them for us at some discount store on Long Island.

The Batman clock was great for the few years that I used it. My sister on the other hand was sadly given a clock that was, not only in Spanish but skipped.

To this day, I might call my sister on a random morning and yell "Yips! Yips! Yips!" into the phone to wake her up.
If I had only spent a tenth of the time studying Physics that I spent learning Star Wars and Baseball trivia, I would have won the Nobel Prize.
