Live fast, die young, and leave a closed casket

On September 30th, 1955, 24 year old James Dean was on his way to Salinas to participate in a race, when he was rudely introduced to 23 year old Donald Turnupseed. Turnupseed walked away, Dean didn't.

Schuco put out a 1:18 scale diecast model of the 1955 Porsche 550 Spyder that Dean owned and nicknamed "Little Ba5tard". Solid piece weighing in at 1 lb. 9.40 oz. They produced 2,000 of them. This is 1,317:

The leather straps is the reason that black pointed tool was included.

If you look closely, you can see the key in the ignition and an extra key hanging on the key ring.

You are transparent; I see many things... I see plans within plans.

    Now that is friggin awesome!

The combination of the unfortunate event with the beautiful Spyder, makes this quite a unique and beautiful desirable piece to own...fantastic detail as well.

    Great pics too...
