    Mego Batman Speaks

We open up a boxed Mego Super Softies Batman figure from 1974 and find out what he has to say! Spoilers: It seems to be all related to crime in Gotham city.

That was a fun video. Nice that he still works after all of this time.

Delightful! Thank you so much for posting this! It's a toy I'll likely never own, but always wonder about. I absolutely love stuff like this. Wonder who got to lend their voice talent?

The sound quality is pretty good for being 44 years old.

Thanks for checking it out. I plan to do each character eventually.

While all of my Super Softies do talk, like a lot of toys of the era THEY FIXATE ON ONE PHRASE.

Batman never wanted to talk about the Riddler, it was Catwoman this and Catwoman that.

Neat! I've never seen those in person.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

                    Go figure ;-)

He did mention the other foes and Bat-items in the Mego line, though--good cross-sell, Caped Crusader.

The Bat Villains were new for 1974 as was the batmobile and copter.

That's pretty neat stuff right there, how cool would it have been if the voice over was Adam West?

Wow, that was fun. Thanks for sharing!

I take it Bats and Lone Ranger share a face with Superman under their masks?
