New female body on kickstarter

There is a kickstarter for a blank superhero female body:

It 1/10 scale (7") but they are proposing a tall version that is 8", so it might be an interesting choice for 8" customizing. Its a bit pricey, but if they are successful, hopefully the price can come down.

I'd like to see the eight inch body next to a Mego figure. I'd also like to see it wearing some Mego clothing. $35 each is a very steep price, indeed.

As long as the head post can adapt Mego heads as well as other scale heads...then I'd be in for the 7 inch figure. 8 inch looks too muscular in my opinion.

Indeed. Besides which, I've always said that an 8 inch tall female in the world of 8 inch MEGO heroes looks freakishly tall. There are not very many women who stand as tall as Superman, The Batman, or Captain America.

These figures are bizarre. What a strange scale to choose. It literally fits in with nothing, lol.

They should have made these in a 6 inch scale if they wanted to be successful. There are a fair amount of 7 inch figures out there these days, but not much in the superhero genre, which is what these bodies seem to be made for.

I think they might work for Mego-ish builds, though the head doesn't look adaptable at all and of course it'll be a completely different look than a Mego. But if totally clothed, you might could fudge it.

Still, kinda baffling the scale they went with and then they showed it next to some other figures for "scale" and it towers over them even with stands. Just strange.

The elbows are also dreadful on both bodies. The smaller one doesn't have double jointed elbows, but it's still oddly blocky and then the larger one has double elbows that look very blocky and choppy.

I do like the physiques, faces and hair though.

I think I would like to figures to be a little shorter than 8". Most women are shorter than men anyway. You can always had heels or leg extensions if they need to be taller

7-inch is MOTUC. So this is She-Ra scale customs.

This is the ideal for my kids. A lot of Marvel Legends/DCUC "fit" with MOTUC but they look smaller.
