Made the 1 1/2 hour drive this morning to a great collectible store in Ventura: Times Remembered; 6,400 sq feet of vintage nonsense.
There are a bunch of great shops on Main St., where Times Remembered is on, so I found a Coffee/Gelato shop to get my snack on.
Banana with Chocolate Chips Gelato and a Double Shot of Espresso.
Made my way to Times Remembered.
Saw some funny picture boards.
Walked out with an AHI Spidey Buggy. Not sure if it's missing anything, but it looks cool.
On my way out of the store, I came across this place:
Disturbing paintings, a mummified mermaid and lots of "preserved" insects. That only begins to describe this wonderfully bizarre store. All of the artists are local, which I thought was cool. Picked up 2 pieces that will look great in my office at work:
Went back to the Coffee/Gelato place to get my Wife something so she wont get pi$$ed off over the other purchases:
Had to take a shot of the beach, being only a block North, before heading back home. What a fun day.
