BBP female body (circa Penny Dreadful Vanessa)

I'm going to use the Penny Dreadful Vanessa figure for a custom, and so I just cracked one out of the package.

As a rule, I'm not fond of the Mego-style female body. But this one is a bit evolved from previous ones I have seen:

    1. Screws in the back of the torso and tush.
    2. Better, more solid, hip and torso construction.
    3. A cool "velvety" vinyl sort of feel to the arms and legs.

I should also point out that it has the "male" style neck plug... but that was not a surprise.

Are there other figures that use this female body type? I don't remember any discussion of this body, but I'm kind of digging it.

Leela from Doctor Who and Doctor Girlfriend from the Venture Brothers look like they might have them as well. At least the neck plug from what I can see.

Oh, I realize there are other BBP female figures with that style neck plug. The Lost females are designed like that, for instance... but those bodies are definitely different. Not sure about Leela or Doctor Girlfriend...

That's cool to know. How does the torso attach to the pelvis? On originals, it connects thru the neck. Is there another peg in the chest or something?
Expectation is the death of discovery.
