I am a sucker for Mego playsets. Totally impractical, but that looks too cool to pass up.

Thanks, Your pal, Jim! I may end up with that Two-Face afterall.

Also, how is the X-Men: Grand Design, by Ed Piskor? I love his Hip Hop books and have considered picking the X-Men book up.

I really like it, but I'm a Piskor fan. It's every bit the same as the Hip Hop books. The trade of the first two issues (which is what's in my pic above) is formatted exactly like the Hip Hop books with the flexograph cover, and it has the Marvel Treasury Edition banner! It's the X-Men treasury we never got in the 70's!

Thanks! I wish I had time and the space to do a better job. I think it's a really good mix of the '66 Batcave and the classic Mego style. I think FTC really did a good job here.

I've kept the Christmas tree up as kind of a passive aggressive thing, I guess.

I guess I'm in the minority (again) but I'm a bit underwhelmed. It's definitely nice but it's not amazing. imo it should've included alfred.
Maybe if the atomic pile were built and not just printed and there were some more rock walls and a floor...
or maybe just add the accessory props and the dida set for the win!

I'm with C.H.O.A.M on this one too. I'm not impressed but I'm glad you guys like it. I was hoping for a bit of an upgrade. solid plastic computers, more props, a better batsignal and the atomic reactor is the icing on the cake. I would've made that more predominate some how. I guess I'm fussy. Sorry all.... don't mean to be a downer. I just love this show SO much as a kid.
