    80 years of Superman videos

These are up on youtube and there are a number of them. I thought these were quite good but some are kinda long.

^They dusted off the 75th anniversary short and gave it a new ending. But that's okay, because it's still awesome.

I can't help but get goosebumps at hearing any of those opening themes.

I'll have to somehow get my hands on the New Adventures of Superman cartoon series from the 60's
          I've never seen it.

Would anyone here have any info on how or where I can get that series complete?

Amazon has it, try "Superman Filmation" or "Superman 1966"

I love that cartoon, it was my earliest intro to Superman (I never really read Superman comics).

The Warlock was my favorite villain on the show.
WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.

Thanks Scott I checked it out, I don't have an Amazon card and I didn't see anything saying they except pay pal or debit,
I'll have to check elsewhere, but I'm sure I'll find it, appreciate the help.

Much as I loved that, I'm disappointed they skipped the Ruby-Spears Superman from the 80s.

^ I missed out on that one because I was working on Saturday mornings by the time that came out and I have never seen it run in repeats. I need to get off my butt and find that on DVD so I can catch up. I have seen all the others, but never an episode of that series.

                          ^^ Right?!?

It's a pretty good but overlooked show in Superman's history. Very reflective of what Byrne and Wolfman were doing in the comics at the time.

^I did a brief interview with Marv Wolfman, who was the story editor on that series, for an upcoming Back Issue article on Superman The Movie's influence on later Super-media. The Ruby-Spears show is a nice amalgam of the new Post-Crisis Superman (Ma and Pa Kent, alive, Lex as untouchable businessman) and the Reeve films. And Wolfman admits that was very much planned. And he was the one who thought of combining the Williams score with the old Superman Radio and TV opening narration!

That was a great call and it works really well.
