Anybody use zbrush?

I'm thinking of learning how to use zbrush for digital sculpting, but the actual software is pretty expensive, so I'm wondering what peoples opinions on it is before I go down that path. I have access to a bunch of online training through work, so it mostly just a matter of determination.

Hello. I have Painter 3D. which I believe is either the fore runner to Zbrush or at least works on the same principal. Generally I didn't like it. Its okay as a post effect like if you want to do damage to a 3d model ( like make a car object file show collision damage) but difficult for sculpting.
There is a 3d program called "Blender" out there that is free and pretty powerful I hear. Its more friendly to those that have a CAD or drafting experience which is probably more in your wheelhouse.

Yeah, I've played with Blender before, but it just didn't click with me. Maybe I should try again.

Are you able to send what you have created in these programs to someone who can actually print them?
