I’m still very interested in all of this and what figures and lines will be forthcoming, but I’m no longer going to count down to the announcement or speculate as to what it is. When it happens, it happens. I’m sure it will be neat.
- IanRampart, this is Squad 51. How do you read?Comment

Micronauts was sold to Hasbro in 2011. It is now part of Hasbro's Writers Room.Comment

Sorry that it has been so long since I posted here - I thought we had all migrated to the Facebook pages.
Brian is right - the major retailer that is carrying this line exclusively is calling the shots.
I just found out yesterday that the press release will go out in early July, so they don't want Marty to
reveal anything on June 16th. This is very frustrating to us but I have been doing this dance for ten years.
In 2019, that exclusivity can end and MEGO will be at several retailers.
I am sitting in the room at every meeting and am involved in every discussion of characters, sculpts, costumes,
and accessories. Licenses these days are cut finely between formats and categories. Licensors have to approve
anything with their characters on it - be it a banner or packaging.
I know what you want, and communicate that, but we can't always get everything we want.
In the old days nothing was shown until Toy Fair in February and the public didn't see anything until it hit the shelves.
The new figures are being sold at the MEGO booth in San Diego July 19-22 because the major retailer wants us to
do this before the figures hit their stores in August.
As soon as we can give more details, we will. No one wants to see this news out more than me!Comment

[Thanks for the update. We've waited this long, another month won't hurt. I appreciate all the work you are doing to help make this happen. Do you know what the price of the new figures is going to be?
