Boba Fett and Obi Wan movies coming

Hollywood Reporter says it's happening. James Mangold will write and direct the Fett movie.

James Mangold directed "3:10 to Yuma" and "Logan" (among other movies). There is no denying that "Logan" had a Western vibe so I am hoping his Boba Fett movie will contain some thematic elements found in Westerns. That would make for a groovy bounty hunter movie.

It would be so smart if they could tie these together somehow, with Solo. Not to "make the Universe smaller", but to raise the stakes with story threads that connect the way the individual Marvel movies do.

I'm very in for an Obi-Wan movie if Ewan McGregor is in it. If not, I'm out. He's the best thing about the prequels and he and Ian McDiarmid carry those almost alone.

I'm in for a good Boba Fett film. I trust Mangold to deliver a good movie.

I agree with you on all of those points. I'll watch the prequels when they are on TNT because those two characters/actors were great.

I'd love to know what Obi-Wan was up to besides posing as a crazy old wizard called "Ben".

Is Boba Fett gonna be played by a Maori actor?

Remember, Temuera Morrison played Jango Fett and his clones...his kid obviously the future Boba Fett...

I'd like to watch both new films.

There are many things good that could be included in the movies, and show new details about the characters.

Of course, with Boba Fett, they probably would want to keep as much mystery to the character as possible when adding new material.

Since stuff is being added from the cartoons,I'd love to see Cad Bane show up in the Boba Fett movie.
