Up until he died in 2004, my grandfather used this shampoo...

I asked him how he still had it and he told me he bought several cases in the 80's after his grocer told him they were discontinuing it.

That image of squeezing artificial cheese product through a slit in a sausage shaped package is absolutely nauseating.

Perhaps, but I loved that stuff--it was better than both Easy Cheese and Cheeze Whiz. They had various flavors, like pimento.

My Dad loved the stuff but I remember the Pimento being kinda nasty.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

lol My grandfather and I loved it on Ritz.

Now of course I make real Southern Pimento cheese and I appreciate the difference.

Not sure it gets weirder than the Flowbee.

What about all the Ronco products?

I wonder if stores eventually started carrying the Ronco stuff, like they do today with the "as seen on tv" stuff?...we had the thing that was suppose to take cigarette smoke out of the air and we may have had that record cleaner...Cant remember if we ordered any of the records or tapes...

                        This is a fun thread.

I didn't look up a picture of it, but Spenser's sold a joke gift that was a fancy plastic recreational, luxurious, boat, it maybe was about (from) six to twelve inches. (only in the 1980's eh?)

It was called a 50 Foot Yacht, and indeed fifty little plastic bare feet stuck out of the bottom of the boat! Weird it was.

We had a similar thing to that! Ours was a "38 Foot Yacht" with 38 small feet sticking out of the bottom.

Anyone remember Burple from the late 80s?

It came with Koo-Aid-like powder in an accordion-like container. You just added water, and then you had a whole pitcher of drink! I falsely remembered that this was actually Kool-Aid in a new format, but apparently it was a short-lived competitor.

Ha!, Ha! That must be the right Yacht.

I couldn't remember exactly what it looked like before.
