Finally! My favorite Spidey villain! PLEASE don't let them screw up the costume. It NEEDS to be theatrical...we're talking an ex-movie guy here.

He's only in talks with the studio to play the role, nothing is set in stone yet and no contracts have been signed. Keaton is also set to return for the sequel (i.e. contracts are signed) and the Vulture will feature prominently as the villain in the sequel, so wither they are doing the multiple villain thing (which rarely ends up working well) or talks with Jake aren't going well.

wasn't Bruce Campbell in line to play Mysterio in the Raimi series? I think adding a new villain we have not seen before is great

There's no way they will do the costume any justice sadly.

I would have preferred 'Kraven' and 'The Last Hunt' Story line...I think it would be easier to accept the premise

Wasn't the Sinister 6 hinted at in Homecoming? If so, Vulture and Mysterio make sense.
