I think the actors look like the band members, at least to me. I'm not a Queen fan. I wonder if there's a way to watch the movie without having to hear the soundtrack...

I’m glad it wasn’t Sacha Baron Cohen, as he was way too tall to play Freddie.

Yeah...but not only way too tall, but Brian May always felt Cohen was too famous, he eventually wanted a lesser known actor. Also...Cohen radically wanted to make a totally different movie, make it darker, a hard R-rated fair...focusing more on Freddie’s promiscuity than his on stage career. Cohen clashed with Queen members and producers on this.

Let's see them re-create Queen playing a stadium in the mid 1980's!

    Capture the showmanship.
From my understanding, the movie tells Freddie and Queen's story from the group's formation up to their Live Aid performance.

    Yup.

Queenís crowning moment...stealing the show at Wembley Stadium during Live Aid.

BTW, many donít know this...but Led Zeppelin played on the American Live Aid counterpart concert, and they were gawd awful...Robert Plant and Jimmy Page were utterly apologetic and embarrassed by this, yearís later...
