    PlaidStallions BIG Toys Week

    PlaidStallions BIG Toys Week

We haven’t had a good old-fashioned theme week here in a while and I thought it fun to celebrate the truly colossal toys of our youth, the playthings so massive (and often costly) that you weren’t even sure if Santa could get the job done.

Every day this week we’ll look at one of these items from such folks as Kenner, Mattel, Mego and Hasbro to name a few.

I hope folks will chime in here and on the facebook page with their recollections of some of these classics.

This would/could be a great PodStallions topic of discussion.
If I had only spent a tenth of the time studying Physics that I spent learning Star Wars and Baseball trivia, I would have won the Nobel Prize.

Cool topic, I love big toys! When I was 10 years old it was all about the Shogun Warriors, coolest big toys ever made (plus the Kenner Alien).

This is a fun topic. While I realize this isn't the actual theme, I was just thinking how many classic vintage toys contain the word BIG in the name: Bigfoot, Big Trapper, Big Trak, Big Wheel, Big Jim, Etc.

I remember really wanting that Rodan to go with my Shogun Godzilla, dang now I'm bummed out all over again.
