    Robin Hood - New Movie

I watched, didn't listen to the dialogue. Buy visually, I really like this.

It's very Green Arrow, but it doesn't suffer the LXG Curse - stylization that's so over-the-top it kills the period context.

Looks watchable enough...anything has got to be better than the Kevin Costner version.

Meh, I can't seem to surpass my bias for the Flynn/Curtiz version. I found things to like in the '80s and 2000s series, but they lost focus (and cast members).
WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.

I loved the Flynn/Curtiz version. Costner was alright, but Errol Flynn WAS Robin Hood.

I'm not 100% sure but wasn't the Mego Robin Hood likness based on Errol Flynn version?

OYE...Looks like a BAD attempt to gel The Kingsman meets Assassin's Creed.

I don't understand WHY folks feel the need to modernize classics with flashy effects to make them appear kewl...LOTR Films have proven that you don't need to sacrifice content to draw an audience.

Robin Hood & King Arthur should be easy Box Office wins without descending into visual drivel.

Nope, he wasn't. The figure didn't bear the slightest resemblance to Errol. The hair style was completely off, the sculpt had blue eyes instead of brown, and the beard was too big.

Mind you, I'd like to see an Errol Flynn style Robin Hood figure done correctly. Even if the likeness isn't 100% accurate, I'd take a close enough figure, providing the price is right.

Like King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, a movie similar to this new Robin Hood...it died at the box office.

Yes, Flynn will always be Robin Hood to me.

That’s one great movie: the acting, the action, the choreography, the sets and the technicolor! Always amazes when I see it.
