      Space Force (TV series)

      Up to episode 4

Not bad but not great - so far

Carell steals every scene he's in

      Worth a peek

Slaughter High (1986) - kooky mid-80s slasher with lots of silly stuff. Excellent.

Funny, I just watched Grizzly (1976). I watched mainly because I read an article about Grizzly II and how that sequel started shooting, but then the producer ran off with the money and was never heard from again. The story of Grizzly II could be a movie in its own right. Ow, and Grizzly was basically Jaws on land, but nearly as good. The bear attack scenes, however, were pretty funny- tight shot of the bear roaring at the camera, cut to a shot of the victim pleading for mercy at the camera, back to the bear, back to the person with clearly fake arm swiping across them, shot of severed arm hitting the ground. You know, general 70's low budget effects.

If you do watch Greasy Strangler, PM me with your reaction. I really want to hear someone else's reaction. My wife refused to watch the moment they showed the two main characters eating breakfast in nothing but Speedos.

You never mentioned Jagger was in it. Now it's a must watch.

The "Grizzly" movie you wrote about sounds like something I'd dig, even if it's a lower budget/"Jaws" wanna-be. I'll be keeping my eyes open for that one.

                      Last movie viewed-"The Long Riders".

Not too bad, but not the best movie either. I think it was Keith Carradine who said of that movie "Everybody with a brother was in that film".

                        Mulan 2020

Watched this last night, was pleasantly surprised that it didnt follow the animated version, and there were no songs etc, thought it was really welldone, just watch it and forget about the cartoon version, stunning scenery, great fights etc. Looked this up on IMDB, and seems a lot of people were disapointed it wasnt a straight up rehash.

"Navajo Joe"- I'd give it about a 3/5.

Completely agree… and on top of it I watched Tusk.

On other fronts, viewed Stuffed (a lovely taxidermy documentary): 8/10
