    Empire Bedding

For a second I wondered if anybody collects the multitude of different Star Wars themed bedsheets that have come out but of course, someone does.

My biggest question is how to display it, do you have a room full of beds?

Did kids EVER like C3P0 and R2D2 better than Luke, Han, etc? I know people like or love them (particularly R2), but their HUGE placement here while Han, Leia and Luke are tiny puzzles me.

    Still, a very neat design.

I loved the droids probably equally as the humans. Like, they were on the album cover of Story of Star Wars on vinyl, and I never wished it were the humans instead, but I do see what you mean.

I love the dreamy, watercolory style of the artwork, which reminds me of the Burger Chef posters. I wish that style would come back.

I had the Return of the Jedi version of these sheets when I was 8, and I definitely had that generic space helmet on the bed in the picture. I'd forgotten both.

I did. When the first film came out, Threepio was my favorite character after Darth Vader.

Big Threepio fan here. I like him better than R2. R2 is everything we humans are not. He's a confident rockstar, genius with attitude, and always knows what he's doing. Threepio, on the other hand, is all of us. Fearful, uncertain, trying to be kind but getting sand kicked in our faces. He's the robot embodiment of human anxiety. And yet, his appearance, and when he's at his best.. there's an incredible dignity about him.

Cool! I only had the original Star Wars bedding set, but it lasted me all through the Empire and Jedi years too.
                PUNY HUMANS!
