    My little Pal is dying

He has been slowing down over the past months and has breathing issues and lost weight. I knew something was serious wrong when he passed out during a 5 minute walk. Going for walks was his favorite thing and now I'm not sure he can do it anymore. It's going to be tough to say goodbye, he has been the best dog I ever had. I hope he kicks out and can have another year but 13 years is a full life and he was loved his whole time.

So sorry to hear this. We had to say goodbye to our 2 dogs (16 years old and 14 years old) within a month of each other a few years back, and it's never easy. We've had our new friend, Bear for a year and a half now, but we still miss our old friends, but the memories are still strong and happy. Our thoughts are with you and we hope you enjoy the time you have left together.

Very sorry to hear this. Have you had a vet check him out?

Yeah they said he had a heart murmur and there wasn't a clear way to fix that. I will be taking him the next day I have off work this week.

Sorry to hear this, a dog is the best friend you'll ever have. The wife and I lost both our dogs six months apart in 2011. I guess all you can do is think of all the good times there were.

All my best. I know that it’s a sad and helpless feeling

I just lost my little pal this last Monday, and it hurts like hell.

From his symptoms, I believe he has congestive heart failure. I hope to get him some medication and see how he does before making the decision.

My condolences in this painful time.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Very sorry to hear. This is one of the hardest and saddest things to go through. Stay as strong as you can and be there for your pal until the end.
