    (My) Captain Canada

I've fallen into a Neil Young phase that I don't want to leave any time soon.

After the Gold Rush has become my new "Calm the 'F' down" song at work.

So, here is my Neil Young Playlist:

Aside from "Old Man", which I'm not too fond of (at least, not yet), what other songs would you recommend that I add to my Playlist?
You are transparent; I see many things... I see plans within plans.

When I was in college, I was especially fond of "Country Home" from "Ragged Glory".

You have to add “Long May You Run,” “Comes A Time” and “Journey Through The Past.”

Neil did 5 nights at Carnegie Hall in 2014, I believe. A lot of it’s on YouTube and very worth seeing. Also check out his 1970/1 performce at the BBC, which is also on YouTube, in full.

I like Old man. It was always one of my favorites.
                Broken Arrow, yes, great song.
Heart of Gold. No doubt! Who hasn't sought that.

                Also;
I am a Child - anyone who has kids should be able to relate
Sugar Mountain - coming of age.
A Needle and the Damage Done. - anyone who has lost a friend to this dreadful epidemic should be able to relate.

All great songs with deep meaning.

I have to throw my support behind these that have already been mentioned
                  Pocahontas
                  Heart Of Gold
The Needle And The Damage Done
                  I would add
Keep On Rocking In The Free World & Powderfinger, which might be my favorite of his. Johnny Cash did a nice cover of Pocahontas that's worth a spin.

I'll echo everyone else - needle and the damage done is a must for me. Great list.

And who could ask for more in 2018 to watch a live performance like this from 1971 just to fuel our already vivid memories of that time period!

Thank you YouTube! "I just started playing this thing" wow.

This is a gem of a live performance from Neil's legendary 1971 Massey Hall live album:

The best cover of Pocahontas I've ever heard is by Crash Vegas, got to see this live in a tiny club.

Posted because unless you live in Canada, you probably haven't heard it.
