Nickelodeon Drops Dan Schneider

I just found out that Dan Schneider, creator and Executive Producer of shows such as Zoey 101, Drake & Josh, iCarly, Victorious, Sam & Cat, Game Shakers, Henry Danger, and Kid Danger was recently let go by Nickelodeon. Game Shakers was recently cancelled. It's been reported that Henry Danger will be renewed for at least one more season, but it will have to go on without Schneider.

Yeah, he's been dropped in the midst of a mounting scandal. I've read some of the allegations and well, Nickelodeon is for family programming.

The timing would suggest that but no, it's unrelated. I think Nick parted ways with Kricfalusi in the early 90s.

Just thought maybe the news about John K. shook this stuff loose. Both stories are sad and disturbing, but the John K. stuff is less of a surprise.

Damn! As painful as I find many of those shows (and my kids love them all), I will admit to enjoying Henry Danger.
