You might do better getting the X-Men Statue playset.

I do hope they continue making the Apes figures at least. An Ape city playset or somethings like the old Mego playsets for the 8 inch figures would be cool. I can dream, cant I?

You might look at the Playmobil Egyptian House.

$75 for a plastic base and cardboard backdrop? Hell no! Ridiculously overpriced by at least $45. They call it a playset, but it is just a display base. Kenner's playsets that had plastic bases and cardboard backdrops actually did things. Hell, even their display base had an action! Not to mention I don't like the packaging. I am perfectly happy with the custom playset I made, which actually does something, has added plastic parts, is much bigger, and cost about half of what that set costs to make.

Nice. I have 2 of those, gray for mountain and white for arctic. I may have to get more.

BTW, where is the ladder from?

Ladder is from the vintage Masters of the Universe Castle Grayskull, which I shortened a bit and painted. It plugs into the mountain and is removable. The net is from a vintage Star Wars, Ewok Village playset. It rises and lowers.

Sorry to change the subject but didn't Super 7 say that the second series of figures is supposed to be released this month or next? I hope so because I really want that soldier ape. He's the one I've wanted most out of all the figures.

Given that we have not seen any painted prototypes yet, it is unlikely for several more months.

Thanks! What you said makes sense. A may be confusing POTA with Funko Batman 66 wave two. I think someone at Funko had said they would be released this summer. However, the fact that I haven't even seen any Batman wave 2 prototypes at all makes me think now that that's not the case. Just color me confused.

Batman 66 wave 2 was announced but the person who made the announcement was queried at SDCC and ducked the question. It may not happen now.

Funko are the worst, completely brainless when it comes to making action figures. So glad Super 7 split from them and took back the Reaction line solo. The differences between the two companies when it comes to action figures is night and day. Funko should just stick to Pops.
