Open your door to a masked man with a gun

While popular on our home turf, the Lone Ranger seemed to enjoy "rock star" status in Europe.

"Excuse me ma'am. Could I borrow a cup of gunpowder?"

Great ad. And so 70s with that corrugated style window!

I love this line. I have dipped my toe in, but I could go much deeper if I had more space, and money!

Once these were rereleased in 1980, and I received the Lone Ranger, Tonto, Silver and Scout, I became obcessed with the line. Unfortunately, by then, they rest ifnthe line was long off of the shelves and I was not savvy enough to think of flea markets or some local toy shows. I was six years old. Although, I did come close to getting more of the line a couple of years later when my dad took me to some toy or antiques vendor show at the local civic center, one Sunday. A particular vendor had much of the line still MIB. And, according to him had even more at home. My dad got the contact info from the guy, but was too cheap to get me anything. (This was a common theme with him) My parents were divorced by this point, so it was a pipe dream, but I held out hope for a few weeks. Oh well. Lol
