    Fantastic Freefall question

Anyone know what kind of rope they used on the parachute? I just picked up a parachute without it and was wondering what kind I need to get for a replacement.

I don't know how to answer your question....exactly, but if it were me, I'd order something like this http://www.gijoeelite.com/White-Parachute-with-Cord and transfer the cord from the repro to the original.

You can look at the picture of the original cord here http://www.vintage3djoes.com/the-fan...-freefall.html and make a guess. My parachute is from the 40th Anniversary and it feels closer to an acrylic yarn than twine (maybe something like this? https://www.walmart.com/ip/Mary-Maxi...-Yarn/34391175), but I don't know what the original cord was made of.

Went with the Cotswold version. Didn't realize the parachute was plastic not cloth like the original. Figure it will do until I can get the ropes swapped out. Also picked up the helmet from them. Bad news is it fell apart on me. Good news is I had picked up an original helmet in the meantime and needed a new visor. So I was able to use the one I got from Cotswold. The rest of the helmet will go in my spare parts bin.

Anybody have a picture of the back without the parachute pack? I've got the vest and want to see how that ties in the back.
