"fuzzy white carpet on a toilet" is the number one answer on the Family Feud survey of "Regrettable decor choices" for 45 years running.

I just can't imagine all of the trapped germs within the fibers.

After the first shower, that place smelled like a wet dog.

I still can’t understand how this became popular.

Now, it not only looks bad but seems so gross. Wow!

I'm gonna open a convenience store and decorate the public facilities just like that.

I think the best bathroom decor is all tile with a deck-drain so one can open the door and spray high pressure hot water from ceiling to floor and then squeegee to quicken the drying process.

That's if you're lucky--wait until the first male urination.

I'll never understand this, or lid covers, or especially carpet in a bathroom. And carpet in a kitchen is equally gross.

Forget about the male urination, i'm thinking more of those times where you have to go number 2 so bad you have to start aiming your butt before you even get your pants down and sit down

Unfortunately most aims are off by a mile

Looks like my grandparents' bathroom in the 70's, except they had the added bonus of a toilet paper dispenser with a built in AM/FM radio, pretty slick!

We had carpeting in our upstairs bathroom at the house we lived at from about 1977 to 1993. It was gray and moldy near the shower and toilet. I'm surprised my parents allowed that to go on so long before doing anything about it, other than my dad was too lazy to rip up the carpeting and it cost money.
I am more than machine. More than man. More than a fusion of the two.
