New series of Star Wars films by Game of Thrones creators announced

They will start writing and producing them (but not directing) as soon as the final season of Game of Thrones wrap up. These are something new, not the episodic films after Ep. IX nor the films Rian Johnson is doing.

Cool! More Star Wars!

I like that they are films, too. Television is okay, and it works for the animated stuff, but I really like my galactic conflict on the big screen.

I've never watched GoT, but no matter. It's a good time to be a (open-minded) Star Wars fan!
