Great set of Mego-style figures--creative use of parts and I like the packaging, too.

Great Job! Very Creative. The packaging is nice and vintage. It looks as though it came out of the 70's. I like how you captured the Mego look. Not to spot on in the face, but the resemblance is there.

I used a Matchbox Maxx Fx Freddy Krueger body to make Chewy. For reasons beyond my comprehension this body is exactly the same as the Mego 9" body used in Flash Gordon, Dr. Who & 9" Robin.

If my mind doesn't fail, I popped the head from a 4" tall rotocast vinyl figure. Chewy's head accounted for 50% of the figure height so it was sort like a bobble head figure only that its head wouldn't bobble but rotate instead. It had no brand on it and I bought it on a local comic fair as I immediately noticed that the head could work for a Mego scale figure.

Chewy's suit was made out of two FTC Gorilla Grodd suits.

Bandolier was made by attaching two Hasbro Black series 6" Chewy bandoliers together in locations it wouldn't be noticed. Crossbow is from the same figure.

These are just stupendous! They are so well done. My favorites are Leia, Han, and Death Squad Commander! But they are all really superb.
