    Genuine Imitation Brand Fonzie

This Official Fonzie Jacket complete with "autographed photo" is the very peak of "Fonziemania" in 1976. I certainly remember being all in on that sort of thing having a shirt, a button, pillowcase and of course the Mego doll.

Now, my kids call Fonzie "that guy on the pillowcase".

I don't remember it, but apparently I had an official Fonzie jacket. I do recall having the Mego Fonzie and the Jalopy. And Fonzie Paper Dolls!

That would have been really expensive. Wouldn't have been a bit over $400 in 2018 money? Was Fonzie that popular?
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

I would say "yes". He was insanely popular, and Happy Days became the #1 show for quite some time.

But yeah, that's kind of nuts on the price!

Fonzie, Evel Knieval, and Stave Austin (SMDM) were the absolute sh#t in 76.

                      I don't know.
Things like that were more expensive back then, than they are now.
I got my first leather jacket in 1983 I think. I paid $125 for it then, and that was on sale.
And that wasn't licensed, just a normal black leather biker's jacket.

I replaced it sometime around 2000, with an identical one, that only cost about $110.
