Can anyone verify that some S&H's Chopper figures were issued with tights instead of pants? (I read of this variant years ago on this forum and am curious about how prevalent it might be.)

the ones i've had all had tights. unfortunately, the waist garter would loosen quite a bit over time. i've never seen any with pants like the ones mego used for starsky, hutch, fonz, richie, and potsy. -
The Chopper I have has dark blue tights, which are now riding down below his waist quite a bit. Shrinkage? (Not something I want to ponder too much, especially in that area).Comment

Yes, the waistband elastic on vintage Mego can degrade pretty easily. Thank you both for this information.
