Thanks. Saw some really cool toys that morning, including this Mego relic:

I was tempted, but realized I didn't have the space (no pun intended) for it. The same dealer also had a boxed Aurora Spiderman model.

Went to a church yard sale late this morning, bought some books. As I was walking out I saw this fella on a shelf behind some Care Bears. Of course he came home with me...file-4-2.jpg

....I left his price sticker on for his photo shoot!

No beaky or slow poke. There was 10 different and 6 doubles. I didn't realize there was 30 different ones. I would have guessed 20-24.

I only know of about 24 different characters but about 4-5 different sets of the same pics with slight variations of the glasses between the sets. Some will have the same pic but larger or smaller and some of the glasses were also smaller, have a more curved top and other small differences. Now there were other sets that had more than just one character on the glass, those are a whole different ballgame. I wouldn't worry about any of that unless you're really a completest. The Tom and Jerry glasses weren't part of the Warner Bros but were MGM glasses. They are a completely different set.

Is that a large Spider-Man comic in the background?

They are wall frames, they used to sell them at Meijer and I believe hobby lobby.

                        I see. I wouldn’t have guessed.

Last weeks find at a thrift store...still trying to place what year or manufacturer it is. No markings at all. Stands about 6 inches tall. Godzuki from what he looks like:

Last one if strictly for scale

                            My Goodwill haul.

The Mask of Zorro is still in its original shrink wrap but I think my best find was a really minty copy of the 7th Voyage of Sinbad.

You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

I've been on a comic kick lately. I will have to be more judicious with my buying since I have room for about 20 more comics in my short box.

it's so hard to find good things anymore. Back in the 80s early 90s was lot easier I'll tell you
