The 1976 Alden's Catalog seems to be the only Wishbook that featured the Mego Star Trek "Mission to Gamma Six Playset". Exactly what Captain Kirk is doing in this photo is completely unknown.

Was the playset originally planned for something else? Seems more Micronauts scale and only very loosely resembles Vaal. Looks more like an alligator than a serpent. You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...Comment

I think that catalog shot really captures the dancing that Capt Kirk regularly did during the series.
Doing the Robot to communicate during 'The Changeling.'
Break Dancing with Spock to confuse the androids of 'I, Mudd.'
Jazz Hands sharing a scene with Karidian in 'The Conscience of the King.'
Relaxing after some classical ballet during 'Plato's Step Children.'
WANTED - Solid-Boxed WGSH's, C.8 or better.Comment
