    Banana Splits Mania

I'm a little young for the original run of the Banana Splits but their reruns are a really happy early memory. So I totally dig these pages from the 1969 Hasbro catalog, I never knew how much merch they got.

I especially would have loved these!

I'm a sucker for bendy figures and these are wonderful.

Even they had a product that depicts a "Moonbuggy" type vehicle on it's box art. Amazing!

The talking telephone was featured in one of Boomerang's old bumpers with the vintage toys. Man, I miss those...and vintage Boomerang.

I'm still hoping someone re-releases the original Aurora model kit of the Banana Buggy (includes figures of the Banana Splits).

Could not even begin to tell you the last time I ever came across a Banana Splits item of any kind in the wild. Maybe a comic book, but the other stuff is RARE.

Banana Splits and Lancelot Link: Secret Chimp provided some wild TV moments for me as a very young child. When those shows were on, I had no idea what was going on! To me, at age two or three, it was like I was watching an alternate universe.

                    Yeah. I wish.
                    But doubt it will happen.
