And has anyone seen a Batman in the 40s pb or Superman in the 70s?
My store had both of those. I picked up the Batman volume, but I already had the 70s volume. I wish I could find the Superman in the 60s volume.

I got all the Superman volumes 30/40's thru 80's, five books total at my local comic book store last summer
I don't have an Ollie's around hear, actually never heard of it.

If you can't find what your looking for at Ollie's, try your nearest comic book store
they might have something or try ebay.

How much were the "War Years" hardcovers? The Batman one was still $15 at my nearby store.

Ours had both Batman and Wonder Woman War Years volumes for $15 as well. They were less when I saw them at Half Price books a while back, but I am not sure Half Price still had copies.

^I was tempted by the Batman volume they had, but I was spoiled by how cheap the actual DC comic collections were, so I passed.

That's how I felt about the Wonder Woman book, tempted, but passed since I just got the first Golden Age Wonder Woman trade (not omnibus) for Christmas and I will get future volumes in that series as they are released. I already had the first Golden Age Batman omnibus and several volumes of the Batman Chronicles covering the war years, so I didn't feel the need to get the Batman volume, as I have a lot of the stories included already in another format. Now if they had been $3 or $4 like the other DC books, it might have been a different story.

^Same here. I had several Batman Chronicles volumes, then our local library, where my wife works, purged a bunch of GNs and TPBs, and I made out like a bandit.

I did a search for Ollie's locations in my area, no stores in Mass, and the closest one is in Rhode Island
about 40 miles south, so it looks like I'll have to stick to my local comic book store and near by
mall for these books. I would like to pick up more Superman books and Shazam volumes, plus
                          Justice League and Batman.

Lucky devil, mine had zero hardbacks by the time I made it. Mostly New 52 dreck but I did score a couple of Spectre collections and a Question.

I have one 5 miles away. I was there last weekend and they had some hard covers and tons of paperback. IF anyone wants something, I can pick it up if it is worth it to you.
