My favorite board game when I was a kid was FIREBALL ISLAND!

Steal the jewel! Incinerate your friends! Good times!

I loved the 3-D game board. You could send red marbles down the mountain to blast your opponents. Every time you rolled those fireballs was slightly different, so what may have killed someone last turn miraculously missed this time (or catastrophically lead to your own death).

I remember really liking payday as a kid, I bought it at a church sale a few years back but still haven't played it.

TSR FTW... for me, at least.

Was big on Dark Tower, too, and any game involving marbles.

Learned this one when I was four...

...and it's the only game I still play regularly to this day!

I recently picked up Battlestar Galactica and Battleship.
Someone told me about Enemy Agent
Might have to seek that one out.

we had a board game based on the Mad comic and I always remember that was fun to play. I think the one we played most as a family was rummikub.

I guess Scrabble and chess are my favourites (even though I'm not great at either).

On Christmas day our family plays different board games. Recently I got hold of The MAD Magazine Game and The MAD Magazine Card Game and we had a blast.

As a kid I liked Stratego and the Marvel Comics Super Hero Strategy Game (probably mostly for the pictures). My grandmother used to play a game called Rummi-Q a lot with us so I have fond memories of that.

I finally picked up the Battlestar Galactica and Battleship game. Sequence is another I really enjoyed.

Stratego, Battleship, Mastermind... those were the one I enjoyed the most through grade school.

Although, in 7th grade, I ended up in an after school program where we played a LOT of backgammon, ad I really took a liking to that.

In junior high and HS, I got into D&D, DragonQuest, and Champions.

Played a lot of board games with my kids when they were little, but the one that was most intriguing was my son's Bionicle game because, as part of the game, you assembled the board as you went from random hexagonal sections that contained different settings and obstacles, making gameplay always different.

Those go for alot of money now. The frailness of the vacform and it's short shelf life plus cult following make it one HOT🔥 item. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?m...2F303310706644
