    Vintage Mego photos

Back when I was 16 I wanted to produce a Mego book. I keep finding photos from it around the place. Here are two that make me smile, the backdrop for the Batman and Robin shot is my bed sheet (Note the holey sock, I still do that) and the Mad Monsters castle is my back yard.

That is awesome and wow you had the MM castle as a kid!
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

I actually bought it as a teenager through comic buyers guide. It was missing the paraphets.

I love seeing "vintage" photos of collectors' Megos, thanks for sharing. I wish I still had my photos.

Having a MM Castle at any age is impressive.

So wonderful to see such determination and intention from way back. Gotta love the days before there was a crop button.

That is so awesome man! I really wish I had thought to take some photos of my toys back in those days, that's great stuff!

But holy cow, look at the leg splay on that Frankie!

That's really cool, love how Franky just knocks down that draw bridge with authority.

Did you have Drac too? I figured he's not pictured since it's a daytime photo, or maybe some sunglasses
                for a cameo pic.
