    Favorite Portmanteau Feature?

    Hi all,

No doubt this has been well covered here before, but I am looking at expanding my Horror DVD collection.

Curious what your top Horror Portmanteau flick might be? I have Tales From the Crypt, but not many more.

I've seen and enjoyed so many, but I really love the comic-book conceit and cast of Creepshow (I).
WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.

I like a lot of the Amicus anthologies, and think that The House That Dripped Blood might be my favorite. From Beyond the Grave is a fun one, too. I watched From a Whisper to a Scream recently and enjoyed it a lot.

I have yet to see an Amicus film I didn't like, but right now I'd say The House That Dripped Blood is my favorite of those as well. But it's hard to beat Creepshow for stylish, dark fun, and the nostalgia factor of seeing it on video shortly after it's original release.

Oh yeah, Creepshow is a ton o' fun. Heck, I even like Creepshow 2! How 'bout modern anthologies? There's been some decent stuff the last few years. Trick 'r Treat comes to mind.
