Grodd!

I like the execution, not so much the cross-eyed look he has. Would have been better with eyes dead on, and a bit more shadowing
(ala Jessica's work...) in the face. Was truly expecting them to pull a Cowardly Lion type setup here, glad they didn't. Hopefully there is
enough give in the material to have him be able to hold his arms above his head, otherwise why bother? You can't have him "gorilla rage" at that point....Customizing 1:9: My Videoblog journey of Customizing!

I love him! I love that he literally looks like a guy in a gorilla suit! I wondered how they were going to pull him off, and I love him!
Someone on FB commented they want a Tarzan/Grodd battle.
I'd be down for that!
I can also see him terrorizing the Scooby kids on his off days when he isn't pitted against the Super Friends!Comment

nice, does that mean they are in stock? I see they have Catwoman listed also. You must try to generate happiness within yourself. If you aren't happy in one place, chances are you won't be happy anyplace. -Ernie BanksComment

These are very cool, a bit pricey and hopefully the body quality is decent, but I'll probably dip in the pocket to buy Grodd,
since he can be mix in with other figures as mentioned, I also think he could fit in with my Trek figures too.Comment

Ok, Grodd arrived with superfast delivery (Yay for Ape Xmas!), and he's really a fun addition to the Ape hive.
Unfortunately this has to be the worst body ever! His knees are floppy like a old worn out Cipsa and his arms naturally pull back behind his body with really odd tension/hardware. He's not posable much like my experience with the early CTVT Mad Monsters… just a strange contorted mess, but much more disappointing with the $30 price tag.
So, I need to save the Gorilla! Is there a good replacement big body? I think he feet and hands can be removed without damage and the head is squishy enough. Anyone rebuilt one of these shabby FTC bods with good results?Comment
