    Durham Kung Fu!



    The Durham Kung Fu figure seemed to be everywhere in the early 1970s, not based on the David Carradine series it simply captured the culture's then obsession with martial arts.

    I really wanted one of these as a kid but they're pretty cheaply made and I've heard no end of stories about how his hands flew off in mid chop.


    Still that display box is pretty sexy,....

    Man, I have no recollection of this. I would have dug this guy as a little one, and I think the flying hand thing would have added to its awesomeness.

      Offered in very early Heroes World ads that ran in Marvel Comics, and sold along with Mego Spidey and Captain America. Probably made a lot of Marvel fans think there was a Shang-Chi Mego figure out there.
