A Christmas Story and a Miser Brothers' Christmas. You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...Comment

Right now the only MUST SEE is A Christmas Story. I put it on Christmas Eve and let it play through non-stop for the entire 24 hour run.
Over the past few years I have given up on my children who never had much interest in any Christmas specials. If I had only spent a tenth of the time studying Physics that I spent learning Star Wars and Baseball trivia, I would have won the Nobel Prize.Comment

My personal "Go Tos" are:
Rudolph, and
Christmas Vacation - However, my darling bride of 26 years will always turn the station just as Clark is wistfully looking out the window dreaming of his new pool. Sigh.Comment

Yeah, the first time I watched it, which admittedly was only a couple years ago, I wasn't super impressed. I liked it, but felt a little underwhelmed. With each successive viewing though my opinion has changed. It's really well made, the phone calls and stalking scenes are super creepy, and it's now one of my favorite horror films. It makes a great double-feature with Deranged, with which it shares some cast and crew.
I got a lot more Xmas Horror to get through in the next week or so!Comment
