    Do you like fruitcake?

Personally I love the stuff. But I'm the only one in my family.

I usually buy and eat at least one or two small ones every year.

Cherries, pineapple, raisins, walnuts...mmmmm. What's not to love?

I love the homemade kind my Mom used to make, which my sister revived a few years back. It's really more of a jam cake, but my Dad's mom made it that way, so my Mom copied her, etc.

Bought fruit cake? Not really. It's not as bad as the legend goes, but it's kind of...eh.

I would like it if it was just the cake and nuts

          The candied "fruit" is awful

Generally, yes. The recipe makes a big difference and most mass-market ones are not that good.

                    Heck yeah!!!
My son likes it as well nothing better than a glass of nog and a slice of fruit cake during the holidays.

I don't think I've ever had a "good" one, like homemade. My mom makes so many other Christmas desserts that would steal my attention anyway.

Image what King Kong's used diaper might taste like.

                            Fruitcake would be worse
