Tarantino is a very over-rated. Apart from that, Star Trek has veered so far from Roddenberry's vision. I hope this movie doesn't become a reality. BTW, is this suppose to be another reboot or an continuation of the previous 3 crappy Star Trek movies? I heard that Patrick Stewart AGREED to star in Tarantino's Star Trek.

Tarantino did reference Star Trek in Kill Bill, maybe he is a fan.

I didn't notice anything about Sir Patrick signing up, I wonder if he would just have Picard with an entire new crew, like a trainee crew.

Only if Danny Trejo is cast as a Klingon commander hell bent on revenge.

Please no. That's like mixing spaghetti and peanut butter. I like both, but they are in no way go together. And Star Trek should never be an "R". I haven't watched Discovery yet, but "edgy" Star Trek kind of misses the point for me.

Personally, I'd like to hear an R-rated Scotty explain the condition of the engines to Kirk over the intercom.
                But maybe that's just me...

Depends on cast. I'm wondering if he's going to mix prime and Abrams in a Mirrorverse or Guardian of Forever angle. I'm actulky excited at the idea of Tarantino mixing his use of film-time with Treks use of time-shifting.

I mean, I wouldn't put it past him to do a Voyage Home sequel.

Lol, I think replacing “Klingons” with “Tribbles” makes that lime even more epic!
