These are pretty neat, but what's the deal? 2 Wolfman's but no Dracula?

Awesome! That's the nicest Soaky I've ever seen! So pristine! I have a beater set of Batman and Robin.

Wolfman having 4 ears was a side effect of the images of Lon Chaney Jr's Larry Talbot from The Wolf Man and Oliver Reed's Leon from Curse of the Werewolf merging in licensing. Sometimes Larry's got Leon's flouncy shirt and sash, other times he's got an extra set of pointy ears. Universal distributed that Hammer film. It's really strange how much Talbot merchandise has some Leon in it.

Why was Drac left out so much?
Lugosi's family started fighting Universal over his likeness back in the 50s believe it or not. It's been going on for over 50 years at this point, and Bela Jr. is a lawyer.

I see. I guess they thought it would just be weird if they used, say, John Carradine's likeness.

They could have just used a generic face for Dracula, wouldn't of been a big deal.

Woah, a King Diamond figure, I'm up for that!

Don't know if it's my computer or their website is crappy, but I can't get the pics to open/enlarge and I've tried three different browsers. *ugh*

This has been one of the best Toy Fair reveals in YEARS for me...the soakies, the new ReAction figures, puzzles, Halloween decorations...somebody at Universal finally woke up!

So, am I right to assume, they are doing all new sculpt soakies inspired by the originals, and not reproducing the originals? (sorry if I'm stating the obvious)
