I’d go with the utility belt, as well. Remco seemed to have mastered those.
- IanRampart, this is Squad 51. How do you read?Comment

I had Remco utility belts, but, during childhood, I only remember the super hero utility belts. I know that I had the Spider-Man belt and beleive I had the Batman belt. The Trek belt looks outstanding, as I'd expect.

I don't know, Chris, that's a close call. Your water pistol and tape recorder sounds pretty awesome actually!Comment

I adore those utility belts. I always wanted the Trek one but never got one--it's beautiful. I had built the Trek model weapons and couldn't convince Mom that the belt was necessary.
I did have a Batman one, but I really coveted The Shadow as well (which isn't Remco I think.)WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.Comment

I loved all of those utility belts, but never got one for whatever reason. That's why I'm not kidding when I say that having to improvise your own with whatever you could find is just as memorable and a joy of childhood.
But yeah, it would've been nice to unbox the real deal.Comment

Remco is really great. I missed out on the utility belt. That's really cool.
(had phaser/tricorder/communicator set AMT models laying around, though)Comment

I had the belt. The phaser clicked when you pulled the trigger, the communicator flipped open like it was supposed to, and the tricorder...I seem to recall being disappointed in. I did survey many alien worlds with them though.Comment
