In researching the video I came across a boxed example with all inserts

Cool. Though it still seems a lot of wasted space. Maybe Mego just wanted it have a larger shelf space.

And, its cool to hear you do even more research on your videos. Given your almost encyclopedic Mego knowledge, you could easily just relay what you already know. Hearing you do more research gives the videos even more credibility.

Wow indeed. Interesting that they went with the Penguin instead of the Joker. You'd never see that nowadays!

I always find it weird that Mego had Mike Jamaican redraw the classic Infantino/Anderson pose of Batman swinging on a rope, but that Penguin image used here and on the package is the original art.

              Thanks for the great addition!

Really love seeing these old school ads, and notice the advertisement stating that they have limited quantity for Batman and Robin, they must have been the most popular because of the tv show reruns, I know they were my first, since Star Trek didn't arrive until 1974 about year or two later.

This polybagged version of the Mexican Ensueno Spider-Man was found in the UK of all places, featuring a suit, body, and head but lacking the original boots and “flying” mechanism. These factory leftovers keep popping up and surprising us, even 35+ years later.

Oh it's hard to see thanks to the turtle neck but I am positive that is an original Mego head, probably overstock.

I love this Mego Fonzie Ad from Italy, "Watch his arms spring up in the typical American gesture *ALL OK!*" yep, when people see Fonzie, they think "ALL OK!".

Wow, that's awesome! And the tagline, "Mego: The Innovators". I don't think I've ever seen that before.

It's so odd that I had the 12" Superman and Spider-Man as a kid but don't recall the Fly-Away action apparatus at ALL. I have a feeling it was thrown away with the packaging, although I'm pretty sure I kept my exterior Superman box for quite some time, because I absolutely love it. Still my favorite Mego packaging.
