16" male articulated dolls--Ideal Electroman question?

I bought a very inexpensive, minty Ideal Electroman costume, with the intention of doing a custom GI Joe.

But, it's huge and I discovered that Electroman was a 16" (what?!) figure.

Any suggestions for a larger figure upon which I might be able to use the suit? Tonners seem too scrawny.

Would it fit on one of FTC's 18" bodies? Or would it be too small?

Thank you!--that's a great and reasonably-priced idea. I had forgotten about those. I think I could use a Superman.

There is a buff Tonner doll, but the head and boots would be problematic and the cost is $$$.

It's a shame about the scale, I had such a great GI Joe AT concept planned.
