El Squadron Lobo Big Jim Gallery Updated

It's been ten years since I updated my little tribute page to the Kid Acero line of toys and it was long overdue.

Known to us as Big Jim, Mexican toy maker Cipsa infused the line with a heavy dose of creativity. The result is a Big Jim's wolfpack with a rich science fiction flavour.

Also, because these toys are also incredibly rare, i had to get some help. My pal Jesus was happy enough to share his amazing collection with the world. Just look at that Jack Kirby packaging.

So check out the all new Kid Acero Gallery at PlaidStallions!

AND THEN IF YOU'RE STILL IN THE MOOD FOR MORE JIM

Weirdest thing is the Ebay links on the page. Not saying it's weird for the Big Jim auctions,it's weird for the listing for the American Ninja Warrior pit thing for 7.5 million dollars.

Never knew that stuff existed. Soooooo cool!

Big Jim is second to only my Mego WGSHs when it comes to childhood memories.

        Thanks for sharing!

Those are insanely cool. Makes you wonder if this version of Zorak wasn't sitting in the back of someone's mind at Mattel when MOTU rolled around.

Foggy memory here ---- didn't people used to try and pass that alien off as a rare Space 1999 figure ?

Oh wow, I never knew he was a legit 1999 figure in another form.

                Cool info

Only in Germany, his card back is just the Koenig one with the words "Zython" on it. Some conjecture that the only way you could get him was through a comic ad. It's actually quite believable as Germans did that sort of thing with Mego figures too.

I've been a big admirer of the Cipsa Big Jims for years, unfortunately I still have yet to own one.
