The 1986 video game Rampage is getting a movie

    Starring the Rock.

You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Sooooo many quarters pumped into this game in 1988.

The trailer makes it look much more entertaining than I expected. With more of Jeffrey Dean Morgan being Jeffrey Dean Morgan and the Rock being the Rock. May actually catch this in theater now.

Now after watching the trailer I see how it can go wrong, Negan's in it.

I WAS JUST GOING TO POST THE EXACT SAME THING!!! And he appears to still be playing Negan.

He was so good in Watchmen....

I have a fear that Negan will end up in the Flashpoint movie as Thomas Wayne Batman just hamming it up like usual.

I find he's really good at being Jeffery Dean Morgan in everything. It's a "Jeff Goldblum" kinda vibe.

Parts of that trailer look so much like the new Jumanji you could easily convince someone they were from the same movie. Dwayne Johnson in khaki in the jungle. I guess it could be Journey 2 the Mysterious Island as well!

By the sounds of it, it might be better if it went straight to video.

I'm split on this one, one side of my brain is thinking "Giant monster movie, cool" and there's this other voice screaming

I saw the trailer today. I think you should listen to that second little voice, Pal.

Seeing two Dwayne Johnson trailers (also Jumanji) made me realize, I'm tired of him as a hero. Hopefully he brings something different to the table as Black Adam.

I, have to admit, I played the game a lot as a kid and in the game the monsters were mutated humans. So, I don't really get changing them into genetically altered animals for the movie. If you are going to adapt the game why change what little story it had? Makes no sense to me.

Looked kind of stupid, but I hope it's goofy fun.
